Chabad Ireland

Rabbi Zalman and Rifky Lent and their children have lived in Ireland since 2000, working with the Jewish community here, first as Youth Rabbi and Rebbetzin, and then as the Rabbi and Rebbetzin of the Dublin Hebrew Congregation. During that time they were also the representatives in Ireland of the global Chabad-Lubavitch outreach movement. Due to changing demographics within the Irish Jewish Community, they are now expanding that role with the opening of a new Chabad Centre in South Dublin, to complement the services currently offered by Dublin’s Jewish community.

A Core Tenet of the Chabad Movement is a warm and non-judgmental attitude, welcoming all members of the Jewish faith, regardless of level of observance or knowledge. Here in Dublin, we provide a friendly community space where you can join for an educational class, a Shabbat dinner, a mitzva project, or even just a cup of coffee and a chat. For students and young professionals away from family and friends we offer a home away from home, and look forward to meeting you all.
